Ever since Ruby became a Catholic, her development has been phenomenal. Four months old and already sitting up. She gets absolutely no help from that Bumbo whatsoever. Swear. What’s a Bumbo you ask? Wouldn’t you like to know…
Ruby can also “crawl”. I don’t think she has any control over where she’s going, or if she even realizes she’s moving, but she is technically able to move across the floor.
Ruby had a checkup with the doctor as well. She weighs 12 lbs 1 oz. Everything is fine except for this pesky ear infection that she’s had for a while. The ear that was infected last month has cleared up on it’s own but now the other ear is bad. We are avoiding he antibiotics for now per the doctor’s recommendation because it doesn’t seem to bother her that much. (“Her” being Ruby, not the doctor.)
We got the go ahead to give Ruby food. Delicious rice cereal. Although we thought she would spit out the first bite, she was practically licking the bowl when it was gone.
Other than that there isn’t too much to report, she is a baby after all. One thing of note is that Ruby loves her sister. She always smiles (even more than usual) when Addison is running around or is goo-gooing in her face.
